EXTENDED OVERNIGHT CANYON TUNA FISHING TRIPS

It's 8pm and your arrive at the Bounty Hunter Express, it's a clear calm September
evening in New Bedford Harbor. You meet the captain and mate and you begin
loading your gear and food. It's now 10pm and the engines fire up, we leave the
dock to catch the 2215 bridge opening, by 2230 we clear the hurricane barrier
(which has been made popular in the opening credits of the TV series "SWORDS".
We are now cruising at 20kts on a southerly course for Quick's Hole. At around 2315
the glow of the Gay Head Lighthouse will start to dim, you are know on your way to
abyss, no land for the next 40 plus hours. You have no idea were we are heading in
the darkness. The good news is, the captain does, he left a great bite in
Oceanographers Canyon. You are on your way ETA 3:15AM. You spend a hour with
the captain asking all sorts of questions then you decide to go down below an take
a nap it's a long tw

LEAVING THE DOCK @ 10PM THE NIGHT BEFORE, ARRIVING AT THE CANYONS
APPROX. 3AM. WE FISH NON-STOP TILL MID-MORNING ON THE SECOND DAY,
ARRIVING AT THE DOCK LATER THAT AFTERNOON. OUR TRIPS OFFER YOU OVER 30
HOURS OF FISHING TIME IN THE CANYONS. TARGETING YELLOWFIN, LONG
FIN,BLUEFIN, SWORDFISH AND MAHI MAHI, USING A COMBO OF TROLLING AND
CHUNKING TECHNIQUES

***FUEL Surcharge - All prices for offshore trips are based on fuel at $2.50/gallon. Who knows
where diesel will be in the Summer of 2010 - maybe is will approach $5 maybe not - The price
quoted is based on diesel at no more than $2.49. If diesel goes to $2.50 a gallon or more we will
have to install a fuel surcharge calculated based on an additional $200 if diesel is $2.50 to
$2.99; an additional $400 if diesel is $3.00 to $3.49; an additional $600 if diesel is $4.00 to
$4.49. If diesel is $4.50 or more we will call you again and discuss if you still want to take the trip
based on what the surcharge will have to be. 2008 was the first year we had to institute a fuel
surcharge and we would like to thank each and every one of our charters for understanding -
your support is GREATLY appreciated.
